Video Business Cards, which are very brief, 3-5-minute videos produced on a CD that is about the size and shape of a conventional business card. They can be played on most DVD players or on any computer with a CD or DVD-ROM drive.
I know, I knowwe give out hundreds of business cards already. Do we really need another one?
Well, how many of those business cards that others have given you have you pitched out? I know Ive disposed of a few. There are so many out there that its pretty difficult to make a strong impression with one. In the first place, youve got to do that yourself, of course. However, if youre at a network meeting, or youve just run into someone at the airport whos interested in what you have to offer, sometimes we really dont get all that much time to make a great presentation on the fly.
Hmmm, wouldnt it be nice if you could just give them a video business card? That in itself is pretty impressive. And I can pretty much guarantee that they wont throw it out like a conventional cardboard card. In fact, theyll probably really look forward to taking it with them, protecting it, in fact, until they can get to their computer or DVD player and take a look at this new marketing marvel. How many video business cards have you received?
Now youve got their undivided attention; maybe even eagerness, for a straight, uninterrupted 3-5 minutes. How often does that happen in a live presentation even? And, presumably, when you originally produced the video business card, your tie perfectly matched your best suit, and you were in your plant, or other job site where you could demonstrate visually just exactly what you were trying to show someone. Not bad. Chances are all of a sudden a lot higher now that youll receive a call back from that prospect. When they do, by the way, maybe mention to them who made that superb video business card for you. Thanks.
