Senior Residential Facility Walk-Through Videos

These are becoming more and more popular with realtors too, since, by being able to view your facility from a website, perhaps from Florida or Arizona even, seniors are more easily able to take a more focused look at the very best of what you have to offer.

You don’t have to scramble to do a special cleaning every time someone shows up to take a look around, or hope that nobody is going to be a little off their game the day that a new prospect arrives. Wouldn’t it be nice if everyone stopped by to see your facility only when you were holding a particularly successful activity, or you had all them gorgeous holiday decorations up? How about if you could always showcase your most exotic Friday night special dinners, or that terrific ragtime band that can only make it out your way once a year? Sure your staff always dresses very nice, but don’t we all kick it up even another notch more when we know we’re going to be in the movies or on tv? Why not show the very very best of all that you have to offer?

The owner, a manager, or various other staff might help host such a video, offering their walking commentary as we shoot, either right on camera, or else as a voiceover to what is being shown. You might want to showcase your dining room, rec rooms, certainly a sample resident’s room, perhaps a nicely-adorned lobby area or even a spic-and-span kitchen. How about showing how beautiful your grounds can be right after the Spring mowing, or during the radiant glory of Fall, or even after a soft and glorious snowfall in the dead of Winter. It might take a minute, but we’re patient if the idea’s right! Perhaps y have some music that you believe conveys the spirit of your home. We’d be happy to use that as a background atmosphere for your video. But, if you’d prefer, we try to keep a little collection of stuff that we’ve found seems to appeal to many of the same people as those whom you’re trying to reach.

A video walk-through can then be posted on the web, maybe shown as a looping trade show video, perhaps used to beef up a live presentation to a prospective group about your residence, or even duplicated over and over and handed out to prospects as a personal CD, DVD, or VHS tape for their repeated viewing at home, or maybe to pass on to their friends and family for their consideration as needed.

Special Events & Celebrations

It’s wonderful sometimes to bring together a treasure trove of all the wonderful people and the extra special events that grace the lives of our residents every year. They might become sort of an annual yearbook, helping us to hold on to the people and memories that have blessed our homes over the years.

DVD may just be the closest thing we have to actually reliving those beautiful days over and over again, …well, maybe next to a really great storyteller! But nothing quite carries the same images, faces, and emotions of the moment as does video.

Here are some of the events that you may want to record and hang onto for all posterity:
• Holiday celebrations
• Religious festivities
• Birthday and Anniversary parties
• Grand Openings
• Annual summer picnics
• Special guest “concerts” or performances that have visited you
• A special “talent show” or performance put on by the residents themselves

Informational Videos as Aids to Your Residents

It’s often helpful for new residents to receive a packet of information about the various rules and practices at your place, and about all the services available to them once they move in. Perhaps a video might be included in such a packet that clarifies visually for them and their families many of the services that might better be learned about by seeing and listening than by just reading. You may want to consider some of the following:
• General information about your facility, your rules, guidelines, and practices
• Video clips of the various activities that you offer
• Video clips of the many and varied celebrations that they can look forward to while they’re with you
• Guest Information & Education seminars that you think may be helpful as a reference, like a nurse’s seminar, or maybe a chiropractor’s, or a dietitian’s

Potential Insurance Claim Inventory Video of Property & Possessions

This is pretty standard stuff. You show us whatever you’d like to have a record of having for your insurance company, and we can put it onto a DVD or tape for your safe deposit box. This makes things a whole lot easier and smoother for your claims agent should something unfortunate happen. Very likely, whatever you pay to have this done you will get back several times over when you can offer an accurate visual record of EVERYTHING you had on video.
